The conference will focus on the role that cloud-based learning can have in supporting and enhancing learning. Our classrooms should no longer be confined to the school building, cloud based learning allows our teachers and learners to learn anytime and anywhere.
Cloud based learning can improve and support learning by creating interactive and dynamic opportunities. Cloud based learning allows teachers to engage their learners higher-order thinking skills and also to increase personalisation of learning. Cloud based learning allows students to analyse information and become content creators and curators. These are the type of skills we all require in this age of personal technology. Cloud based learning allows authentic integration of technology into classes and the promotion of 21st century thinking and skills.
The conference will be suitable for delegates that are new to and also those that are already using cloud-based learning with their classes.
The conference will begin with a keynote speech and delegates will then be able to attend a series of hands-on practical workshops from experienced, expert presenters.
The keynote speaker for our Cloud Pedagogy event is Mark Allen.
